Brief Introduction

904L achieves superior corrosion resistance in highly corrosive media, especially sulfuric acid and halide-containing acidic environments, by significantly increasing the content of key chromium, molybdenum, and copper. It is designed for use in extremely corrosive environments, specifically to conquer harsh acidic conditions. Applications include sulfuric acid manufacturing, storage, and transportation equipment (such as heat exchangers, pipelines, pumps, and valves), wet areas in highly acidic flue gas desulfurization systems with extremely high chloride ion concentrations, offering a service life far exceeding that of conventional materials, and the paper industry.
